Anthony Joshua’s latest setback foiled promoter Eddie Hearn’s hard work in putting him through an expensive four-fight rebuild job, hoping to transform him to the vintage factory level version that turned pro in 2013.

If Joshua loses his next fight, he should retire rather than continue on and become a broken shell of the fighter he’d been. On social media, a lot of fans want AJ to hang up his gloves and walk away. They don’t want to see him turned into another Dereck Chisora type, talking in slow motion, and getting the stuffing beaten out of him.

Hearn is still holding out how that the ‘Gypsy King’ Tyson Fury will come out of retirement for two ‘Battle of Britain’ clashes against Joshua, but it doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen.

Fury has so much money that he’s taken away his motivation to continue. Hearn should focus on returning Joshua to the ring against one of these fighters next.

You can skip Fury because he’s too busy enjoying his massive $250 million Getty-esque fortune he’s accumulated in the last six years. AJ should go after the best name possible from this bunch next, and if he loses, retire.
