Italian OPI since 82 won the purse bids for the right to promote Cristobal Lorente’s mandatory defence of the EBU featherweight title against British and Commonwealth champ Nathaniel Collins (15-0).
OPI plans to stage the fight in Italy or in Lorente’s hometown of Barcelona, Spain, with the date to be announced.
Lorente (20-0-1) won the title on July 11 in Albania with a majority decision over Mauro Forte and has since retained the title against Francesco Grandelli. He is promoted by Opi since 82.
