William Scull has been ordered to fight the winner of Diego Pacheco-Christian Mbilli, presuming they agree to fight, and then Vladimir Shishkin.

As was previously reported by Boxing Scene the IBF denied a request from Salita Promotions for an immediate rematch between Scull and Shishkin.

Scull won a unanimous decision over Shishkin October 19 in Falkensee (Germany) to nab the vacant IBF super middleweight strap and Salita Promotions filed an official protest to the German Federation that was turned down.

Salita also made a protest to the IBF and the sanctioning body have looked into the matter and made the following decisions: Shishkin will remain No. 2 in the ratings; Scull must make his mandatory defence on or before April 19, 2025; The winner of this mandatory will then have to defend the title against Vladimir Shishkin before August 17, 2025.

The problem is that there is no mandatory challenger for Scull at present. IBF No. 3 Christian Mbilli and No. 4 Diego Pacheco have been nominated to fight an eliminator.

Purse bids have been set for December 10.
