Ryan Garcia posted a trolling picture on X of himself holding a kid who resembles Devin Haney. Garcia said his “son” asked Santa to teach him to keep his “right hand up.” The picture looks AI-generated, but the resemblance to Haney is too close.

Haney and Garcia have been feuding since last April. Devin is still bitter about his loss, while Ryan isn’t happy about the way the New York State Athletic Commission took away his victory after he tested positive for a banned substance.

The Feud Fuels On

This is Ryan’s way of taunting Haney (31-0, 15 KOs), who failed to keep his right hand up to block his powerful left hook, which he used to drop him three times in their fight on April 20th.

Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) couldn’t miss with his left hook and had Devin looking scatterbrained, unable to stop that weapon. Devin lost the fight by a 12-round majority decision and hasn’t been seen since inside the ring. That defeat took the air out of Haney’s career, and it remains to be seen if he can ever come back.

Bill Haney has been raging nonstop since Devin’s loss to Garcia, and he’s kept the bitter trash-talking going all this time. Devin has mostly been in the background, training and keeping a low profile like usual.

He’s seemingly moved on and is getting ready for what comes next when he returns to the ring in 2025. If that’s Garcia, he’ll be ready, but it may not be. Bill could be helpful if he makes peace with Ryan, drops his lawsuit, and focuses on the great good, setting up a rematch for Devin.
