Michel Rivera is chomping at the bit to get his hands on Ryan Garcia. The super lightweight contender recently signed with Salita Promotions and would like to face Garcia in his next fight.

When Garcia will be able to fight isn’t yet known as the 25-year-old tested positive for a banned substance after his April 20 victory over Devin Haney at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. His case is currently under review.

“Bill Haney kept talking about Garcia but what he forgot is that his son doesn’t have a chin,” said Rivera.

Garcia was officially credited with three knockdowns but there were two other occasions that Haney hit the canvas that could have also been ruled knockdowns.

Rivera doesn’t see any way that Garcia could beat him and promised to put on a dominant display if they ever meet in the ring.

“I am better than Ryan in every category. You name a category and I’m superior. I would beat him up over 12 rounds and win an easy decision. Let’s see if Garcia accepts my challenge,” Rivera told BoxingScene.com.

Rivera was last in action in November when he outpointed former champion Sergey Lipinets.
