Being designated a main-event fighter by Roy Jones Jr. is all the promotion India’s Mandeep Jangra needs as he looks to extend his unbeaten start by headlining Jones’ next Legends Casino card, Sept. 19 in Toppenish, Wash.

Super-featherweight Jangra (10-0, 7 KOs) trains under Jones in Pensacola, Fla., and the Hall of Fame fighter’s fondness for the fighter has increased with three consecutive stoppage victories.

On Sept. 19, Jangra meets Nilo Guerrero (9-0, 7 KOs), a Nicaraguan who resides in Coachella, Calif.

The Jones-promoted card includes another fighter promising to Jones in women’s super-lightweight Ijram Kerway (14-3, 5 KOs), a former judo practitioner from her native Tunisia who later immigrated to Germany and is now the mother of two.

Kerwat’s opponent has yet to be finalized.

Tickets range from $40 to $60, and the bout will be streamed at globalsportsstreaming.com.
