Today is Ryan Garcia’s B sample day, and fans will find out if the young superstar has cleared from his positive PED test from last April, which resulted from his one-sided beatdown of the young phenom Devin Haney in Brooklyn, New York.

Haney’s Future Hangs in the Balance

If Ryan’s B- sample tests negative for PEDs, he’ll be vindicated, showing fans and the boxing world that it was a testing mistake. He can then move on and line up a potential mega-fight against Errol Spence or a lucrative rematch against Haney (31-1, 15 KOs), both of which would bring in massive money.

Haney and his promoter, Eddie Hearn, should be rooting for Ryan’s B sample to test negative, as this could be their last chance for big cash before Devin’s career goes down the drain.

Haney won’t make the money he got against Ryan Garcia against anybody aside from Gervonta Davis. That fight will NOT happen anytime soon without Devin redeeming himself in a real way, not by having his loss eliminated by the commission and given a win for his defeat against Ryan last April.

That would look pathetic in the eyes of fans. Haney must avenge his loss to Ryan, and that’s not going to happen if he’s suspended for 1-2 years or a lifetime, as Hearn says he wants for him.

If Hearn throws Haney in with any of the talented fighters at 140, he will get knocked out, and that’ll be it. He won’t get the big money that he earned against Ryan, and he can’t return to 135 to capitalize on his size the way he’d been doing.

Ryan Garcia Claims Innocence and Foul Play

“I know Devin Haney was the poster child for the next Floyd Mayweather, but I definitely debunked that,” said Ryan Garcia to DAZN Boxing, talking about how he believes he was set up due to testing positive for PEDs after he destroyed the superstar on the rise, Devin Haney, exposing that he’s NOT the next Floyd Mayweather Jr.

“How about you give me my credit and just be like, ‘Yo, he’s the best.’ You literally told me he was unbeatable in the press conference. Anybody can lose, stupid. I could lose. Muhammad Ali lost. Mayweather should have lost to Castillo in the first fight. Everybody loses in life.

“You’re letting literal cheaters convict me of cheating,” said Ryan.
