Floyd Schofield says his fight with WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson is a “Done deal” for February 22nd in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Schofield (18-0, 12 KOs) will be taking a giant step up in class in just his fourth year as a professional. He’s been fighting in the pro ranks as long as Jake Paul.
Earlier today, Shakur’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, revealed that they’d made a “massive offer” to the 22-year-old Schofield for the fight, and he hoped he would agree to it.
“We already told them what we wanted. It’s a done deal,” said Floyd Schofield on X, talking about his fight against Shakur Stevenson on February 22nd.
