Claressa Shields takes on Danielle Perkins tonight on DAZN!
Claressa Shields returns to action tonight to face Danielle Perkins in the main event of a DAZN-streamed show from Shields’ hometown of Flint, Mich.
Live coverage will begin at 7:30 pm ET.
The fight will be for the undisputed heavyweight championship, not really a division that actually exists in women’s boxing, and realistically more of a marketing device as Shields (15-0, 3 KO) looks to become undisputed champion in a third division.
The dominant 29-year-old will be a huge favorite over Perkins (5-0, 2 KO), a 42-year-old southpaw who fought three times in 2020-21 and then not again until 10 months ago. She went 2-0 in 2024, and has been on two Shields undercards in the past. The step up in competition for Perkins is enormous.
The undercard will feature a 10-round heavyweight bout between Brandon Moore (16-1, 10 KO) and Skylar Lacy (8-0-2, 6 KO), among other fights.
