Rising super lightweight prospect Dalton Smith will put his undefeated record on the line today from Sheffield, England, facing veteran Mathieu Germain in a main event on DAZN.
The show will begin streaming at 2:00 pm ET.
Germain (17-0, 13 KO) will be out for the second time this year, following a 10-month layoff between fights. He easily dispatched Walid Ouizza in the first round on January 25 in Nottingham, and will look to make easy work of Canada’s Germain (26-2-1, 11 KO) today.
Germain has won his last eight fights, including some decent domestic-level type wins in Canada, notably one over Steve Claggett to get the ball rolling in 2021, following losses to Uriel Perez and Yves Ulysse Jr.
Today’s show will also feature returns for Caoimhin Agyarko, who takes on Ryan Kelly, plus Josh Warrington against Asad Asif Khan, and Josh Padley, who takes on Marko Cvetanovic in the former’s first fight under the Matchroom banner.
