Jarrell Miller was looking forward to an upcoming fight with Derek Chisora, but that fight doesn’t look like it will happen.

After reports of a heavyweight fight between Jarrell Miller and Derek Chisora, it seems the fight has fallen apart just as quickly. Miller has taken to social media to announce the fight is not going to happen, and blames manager Dmitry Salita as being the one who stood in the way.

“Let me say this, man. The fight with Chisora is off,” Miller said. “Chisora is a good dude, he wants to fight, I want to fight. The fight off because this little piece of shit named Dmitry Salita — the dirtiest human being I’ve ever met in my entire life, and I’ve been around a lot of dirty motherfuckers. But Salita is the worst human being that’s ever walked the planet, known this guy since I was 16 years old.

“Him and his dirty ass lawyer John Wirt are compulsive liars. Now my contract is up with him but he’s exercising his first and last right of refusal and blatantly made up an entire story to try to get more money out of me, basically extort me, is basically what he did.

“Promoters wasn’t having it. They want me to fight but do not want to do business with this guy…DAZN should be ashamed of himself working with a man like this. This guy does absolutely nothing for fighters, nothing. All my fights that I got negotiated with is all on my own behalf. He likes to use my name to solicit it, to get other fighters to sign with him.

“And the only reason I signed with him was due to an old promotional contract, probably 11 years ago that I did with my old trainer, Kenny Richardson. That’s the only reason why, and ever since I’ve been dealing with trying to get out and figuring out how to deal with this nonsense.”

The 36-year-old Miller is most recently coming off a majority draw with Andy Ruiz in August following a stoppage loss to Daniel Dubois last December, and realistically could’ve used all the activity and momentum he could muster at this stage of his career. He’ll now have to figure out an alternative plan.
