Jaron Ennis will face Karen Chukhadzhian for a second time on Nov. 9.

As Jaron Ennis prepares for his mandated rematch against Karen Chukhadzhian, he takes a few minutes to talk to boxing media about his expectations for the sequel and more. Check out some of what Ennis had to say below.

Ennis on his rematch with Chukhadzhian

“I fought him before, I beat him before. I know what I got to do. We’re going to make it work. I got something for him.

“I approach this fight just like I take every fight. You know, just stay focused, locked in and put the hard work in and when you put the hard work in the results show.”

On if it difficult for him to be motivated by this rematch having swept Chukhadzhian the first time around

“It’s not difficult. I watched the fight three or four times and I seen a few things that I could’ve done better. Like it wasn’t him, it was me, me being an airhead for real, for real. Going in there and being an airhead and not really listening. This time around it’s going to be way different.”

On if he has plans to move to 154 anytime soon

“We’ll see. Right now everything going good at welterweight. I’m feeling good and ready to rock and roll and I want to be undisputed at 147.”

On Usyk vs Fury 2

“That’s a great fight. I feel like that fight’s still 50/50 but I’ll go with Usyk again.”
