The WBO, WBA and WBC atomweight champion Tina Rupprecht is to fight Sumire Yamanaka, the IBF titlist, in an undisputed title fight at the MBS Arena in Potsdam, Germany on April 5.
Rupprecht, 32 and of Germany, is 14-1-1 (3 KOs). Japan’s Yamanaka, 23, is 8-0 (3 KOs).
The light heavyweight Nick Hannig is to fight on the undercard, as is, among others, his fellow light heavyweight Armend Xhoxhaj, the cruiserweight Roman Fress, the junior middleweight Julian Vogel, and the super middleweight Max Suske.
Rupprecht-Yamanaka – the atomweight limit is 102lbs – is to be promoted by SES and Blanko Sports.
In Wiesbaden, also in Germany, the English light heavyweight Jack Scott moved to 18-3 (10 KOs) by earning a unanimous decision over Angel Adrian Barroso, 14-10 (13 KOs) and of Venezuela.
Scott, 28, was 3-3 when he started working with the Finnish matchmaker and agent Markus Lammi. He has fought across Europe, without fighting in his home country.
