Richardson Hitchins will attempt to dethrone IBF light welterweight champion Liam Paro tonight in their 12-round main event contest in neutral territory at the Coliseo Roberto Clemente, San Juan, Puerto Rico.
This is Hitchins’ coming out party, and he’s looking to transform himself into a star with an impressive victory over Paro (25-0, 15 KOs). The event will be shown live on DAZN at 7:00 p.m. ET. Many fans view Paro as being too gritty for Hitchins, who looked uncomfortable in his last fight when pressured by Gustavo Lemos.

Hitchins: A Star In The Making?
Richardson has the charisma and amateur pedigree to be a star in the light welterweight division. We don’t know if he’s tough enough. Tonight, Hitchins will show whether he has the grit to deal with a fighter, Paro, who throws the rulebook out the window when he fights.

The event is in San Juan, Puerto Rico, so he chose fights that would resonate with the public rather than ones that fans outside of the Island would be interested in watching.
The Preliminary Card Begins at 3:30 p.m. ET Below
