Austin “Ammo” Williams (16-0, 11 KOs) is back in camp preparing for his Queensberry-Matchroom “5vs5” matchup versus Hamzah Sheeraz (19-0, 15 KOs) for the WBC middleweight final eliminator on June 1, in Saudi Arabia.

The fight is part of a ground-breaking bill featuring five Frank Warren-promoted fighters against five Eddie Hearn-promoted fighters.

Williams is currently training at Kevin Cunningham’s “Camp Cunningham” base in South Florida.

Cunningham expects an even fight between the two unbeaten fighters.

“Ammo has been working hard in camp,“ Cunningham told BoxingScene.com. “I think this is a very close and competitive matchup. The winner deserves the WBC middleweight title shot next.”

Williams last fought in February, when he stopped Armel Mbumba-Yassa in seven rounds in Las Vegas.

Sheeraz was also last in action in February, when he stopped Liam Williams in the first round of their bout that took place at London’s Copper Box Arena.
