Tyson Fury weighed in at a thin-looking 262 lbs while unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk came in at a career-high of 233 1/2 lbs at Friday’s weigh-in for Saturday night’s undisputed heavyweight championship at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

During the face-off, Fury rushed up to Usyk and put his head against his, and then gave him a hard shove, resulting in the team separating the two to prevent any fisticuffs.

Fury looked like he had a chip on his shoulder from being dumped on yesterday for his timid behavior during the final press conference, where he avoided looking at Usyk during the face-off.

IBF/WBA/WBO champion Usyk is 12.6 lbs heavier than in his last fight last August, and he looks a lot more muscular than he has in his career.

WBC heavyweight Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) came in a whopping 25.7 lbs slimmer than in his previous fight last October, and he looks like a completely different fighter.

Fury vs Usyk weigh-in results:

Tyson Fury – 262lbs
Oleksandr Usyk – 233½lbs

“I’m ready to rock and roll. Fireworks on Saturday night. I’m ready to spark him the f*** out. I’m coming for his heart. He’s getting it tomorrow,” said Tyson Fury moments after weighing in.

“Don’t be afraid. I will not leave you alone tomorrow,” said Usyk. “Because it’s my plan. If I’m nervous, I will not be. My fans, I love you. I see you tomorrow.”

“Usyk is up a little more than usual,” said Carl Frampton. “I think he’s going to fight aggressively and he’s not going to move.”

“It was quiet one day and it’s roudy today,” said Lennox Lewis. “He wanted to get in his face to let him know, ‘This is what’s coming for you and you’re going to get it,’” said Lewis on what Fury’s attitude was. “He knew he [Fury] was quiet yesterday, but he came out focused and ready. The hype is there. Both of them are ready.

“He’s put on some good weight. You can’t see where he put on the weight, but that extra weight is going to count.

“I’m surprised to see love handles, but he boxes great with love handles,” Lewis said about Fury. “I would like to see Fury with a little more weight, but he wants to have more speed and mobility. He’ll do that at a lighter weight.

“The guy he’s fighting is a serious guy. He has the entire country behind him. He has friends on the front lines and he’s fighting for them as well.
