Zach Parker will fight Mickael Diallo on Saturday

After Willy Hutchinson pulled out of Saturday’s (February 8) super middleweight fight against Zach Parker in Manchester, many wondered whether Parker, 25-1 (18), would still appear on the bill.

The answer to that question is yes, he will, with his replacement opponent revealed as one Mickael Diallo, a 33-year-old from France. 

Diallo, known as “Le Bombardier Catalan”, brings to the fight a record of 21-1-2 (18) and has competed outside his homeland only once. That fight, in fact, which took place in Belgium against Malik Zinad in 2023, is the only fight Diallo has lost so far as a pro. 

His next fight, on Saturday against Parker, is scheduled for 10 rounds.
